This project in White Bear Lake was a full exterior upgrade, combining new siding, architectural improvements, and functional corrections to address water intrusion issues.

The home originally had steel siding that was still structurally intact, but it wasn’t installed correctly. Over time, water was getting in above the windows, and the exterior had started to fade and feel dated.

The homeowners had recently purchased the property and wanted to fix the underlying issues while completely upgrading the look of the home.

Built a custom front entry bump-out
Added a full-length front porch
Installed Trex composite decking for durability
Finished the porch with LP SmartSide skirting

We also added:

Custom gable build-outs for a higher-end look
Thick custom trim borders framing windows and walls
Continuous trim design carried from front to back of the home

Windows & Water Management

To address the original issues and prevent future problems:

Replaced front-facing windows
Corrected flashing and sealing details
